THE RACE: Because of the dual character of this temporary race circuit, you will experience both high speed sections as well as some technical corners. On the renovated section the large displacement machines reach 190 MPH, before reaching hairpin south, 2.5 miles after the start/finish line, then on to the old two lane blacktop, 20 foot narrow, bumpy, rough old highway semi-loop, 7.45 miles in lenght, to reach the start / finish line again, completing the 9.95 miles of this challenging course. Eric Wilson, double overall Champion, completes a fast lap of 4'-43", to average a speed a bit over 126 MPH.
